For marriages registered in England and Wales, certificates can be ordered from the General Register Office. Scotland and Northern Ireland have their own procedures. Identify the registry that issued your certificate.
Include the entire certificate, notes and any apostille that needs translating. Check the required issue date and format with the Spanish authority handling your application.

Does the translation guarantee my application will be accepted?
A sworn translation certifies the accuracy of the translation. The receiving authority decides on your application, document age, apostille and format requirements. Tell us where you will submit it and we’ll help you prepare your enquiry.
Can I order while I am still abroad?
Yes. Upload your files online and receive the signed PDF by email. Paper delivery is optional and its cost is shown before payment.
How much does it cost and how are pages counted?
The rate is €25 per billable page in 2 business days or €35 in 1 business day. Billing uses the higher of the physical page count and the word count divided by 400, rounded up. The quote tool confirms the total in euros before payment.
Does the translation include obtaining an apostille?
Obtaining an apostille is not included in the translation service. If an existing apostille needs translating, include it among the files for your quote. Confirm the requirements with the receiving authority.
