US birth certificate: sworn Spanish translation
A complete, legible copy for your family paperwork. We’ll help you with your paperwork, step by step.
Sworn translations prepared and certified by sworn translators appointed by Spain’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation (MAEC).
Before you upload
Certified US birth certificate copies are requested from the vital records office in the state or territory of birth. Check which version the receiving authority needs: different copies may contain different information.
Photograph the full page and the reverse if it contains text, seals or annotations. Include any annexes to be translated. Translating a photo does not turn an ordinary copy into a certified vital record.
Answers for your application
Do I need a long-form or short-form certificate?
It depends on the application and required information. Check the receiving authority’s document list before requesting a new copy. We can help identify your version, but cannot guarantee that one version replaces another.
Can I send a photo for translation?
Yes, a complete, readable photo can be used to assess the translation. It does not replace the original or official copy the receiving authority may require for your application.
How much does it cost and when will it be ready?
€25 per billable page · 2 business days. €35 · 24 business hours. Taxes included. Each page allows up to 400 words; the total is confirmed from the complete document.
Does the translation guarantee my application will be accepted?
A sworn translation certifies the accuracy of the translation. The receiving authority decides on your application, document age, apostille and format requirements. Tell us where you will submit it and we’ll help you prepare your enquiry.
Online ordering is being prepared. Meanwhile, we can review your enquiry on WhatsApp or by email.
